an extremely hot day it was, even the monk couldn't stand the heat.

a reminder to anyone who plans to visit: shorts n sleeveless top is not allowed in the Palace. so cover up! sandals, on the other hand, is fine. in fact, shoes off inside the Palace.

Divana Nurture spa

DVN spa - Nurture branch, a place offers serenity. only 5 mins walk away from the busy main street, Sukhumvit, yet it's like a world apart. excuse the blurred picture.

we chose to have the Botanic treatment, which began with a pepper berries foot soak, following by aromatherapy body massage. the massagists were very professional. all the movements were synchronized without speaking. maybe they r twins...
the fancy tub that we didn't get to use. instead, we were sitting in the shower room for 10 mins for the steam bath.
the mango was so sweet.

footnote: i prefer the service here than Banyan Tree Spa.

既然都住了Banyan Tree,不去體驗它最有名的SPA,

就像難得回台灣卻不吃鹽酥雞一樣白目.

我們都不是白目的人,所以就算手頭緊,也要去開開眼界

footnote: 療程的前半段,一切都很美好;精油很香,按摩師的力道又不會太重.正在半夢半醒,心中默默讚嘆這裡的一切的時候,突然響起工地鑽壁的聲音, what the..??! (about 9pm at night).和按摩師確認噪音的來源的確是因為樓下在施工.

我不敢相信重服務品質的Banyan Tree竟然會犯這麼誇張的錯誤.我在療程後邊喝著茶,邊在意見表上寫下我的抱怨.雖然事後還有收到飯店的道歉email,但是這件事讓我對Banyan Tree的好感大大的扣了分.
