卡打車
暫時告別日本的小机,回台灣之後,都還沒有騎過卡打車.那時候每天出入騎車,回家要爬那個欠揍的山坡,有夠腿軟,到現在回想起來卻還是挺懷念每天都靠卡打車闖天涯的生活.
現在可愛的小白車,不知道是否還安然的停泊在超市的停車場裡? 請原諒我暫時違法的拋棄,我馬上要回去和你團圓了.

Le Normandie restaurant at the Oriental Bangkok

just being in the lobby, feel like a millionairess.
hallway the Le Normandie restaurant, where the birthday lunch took place.
the oriental monkeys, with good manner.

The Peninsula Bangkok right across the river.
Le Normandie restaurant is recognized as one of the Traditions & Qualité in the world. The finest french cuisine in Thailand.
Menu de Dejeuner, a four-course lunch menu with a very reasonable price, Baht 1,000 per person, about 30usd.

cold soup, or cocktail soup u might say.. forget what it's made of, but it was good.
we all had the big prawn as appetiser. yum!
Tuna as main course.
duck as the main course. (personal favorite)
beef as the main course.
dessert trolly.
blueberry cheesecake & apple pie.
sorbet.
Mocha.
Petits fours du Normandie. too full to eat anything by then...

不愧是世界聞名的旅館,不愧是世界聞名的餐廳, 沒啥好挑剔的. 其實由於吃的是生日午餐,餐廳還又再送我一個生日蛋糕 (不是一片,是一個完整的chocolate cake),但是根本吃不下了,所以只好狠心放棄.

an extremely hot day it was, even the monk couldn't stand the heat.

a reminder to anyone who plans to visit: shorts n sleeveless top is not allowed in the Palace. so cover up! sandals, on the other hand, is fine. in fact, shoes off inside the Palace.

DVN spa - Nurture branch, a place offers serenity. only 5 mins walk away from the busy main street, Sukhumvit, yet it's like a world apart. excuse the blurred picture.

we chose to have the Botanic treatment, which began with a pepper berries foot soak, following by aromatherapy body massage. 
the massagists were very professional. all the movements were synchronized without speaking. maybe they r twins...
the fancy tub that we didn't get to use. instead, we were sitting in the shower room for 10 mins for the steam bath.
the mango was so sweet.
