while doing research for the bkk trip, i heard lotta great things about this place, both from the web n from my friends who had actually been to Somboon before, even heard that the king loves their food. unfortunately, for me, the experience is a huge let-down.

Sticky floor, dirty plates, poor service..
feels exactly like dining in one of the HK teahouse in china town.

Tom Yum Koong - super Hot & Spicy prawns soup

Roast prawns with glass noodle

Curried crab

maybe 'coz we were there too late at night, so the seafood tasted not so fresh,
especially the prawns with the glass noodle.
